Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken in Tokyo Setagaya-ku. I was walking along the Setagaya street which leads to Shibuya on the way home after having observed the equestrian event in Baji Koen. After walking for a while, I stopped on the way at the Shōin shrine which has deified Shōin Yoshida who is a leading player of the Meiji Restoration. On the way to a shrine, I crossed the crossing of Setagaya Line of light rail line. Setagaya Line is an orbital line operated by Tōkyū Corporation which connects 5 km of Sangen-Jaya Station and Shimo-Takaido Station of Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. In Tokyo proper, only this line and Toden Arakawa Line are surviving tramways. I took the moment which a train passes a crossing and the crossing gate went up. I could seen the tall chimney of a nostalgic public bath in the distance.
