Photographer's Note

The center of Tokyo has few big parks. This Yoyogi Park improves the former site which was athlete's dormitories of Tokyo Olympic Games in 1964, and opens it as the city park in Tokyo's 23 Wards in 1967. The plottage is fourth largest in the city park in Tokyo's 23 Wards. A park is also a place in which Harajuku Station and Meijijinguu-mae Station are adjoined and many people gather from Harajuku, Omotesando, and Shibuya. Inside a garden has a pond which has a fountain in the center, and the lawn is surrounded by the open space in the circumference. The sidewalk is improved to surround inside the garden and people who are often jogging are seen. In addition, a flower bed and the site for dog runs are located in one corner inside the garden, and the dog lover is accompanied by the dog. This photograph was taken by the pond side. People rested on the lawn and the sprinkler of a pond had released water with vigor sufficient in the sunlight of autumn.

A nice and peaceful scene seen and captured in the park. The lighting effect helped to create a special atmosphere of the moment. Like it a lot. Well cropped in the vertical format. Thanks for sharing.

What a fresh look for a change and a great place to enjoy the low sun with shiny spray from the water fountain, such a peaceful park rich in greenery with glimpse of autumnal colors. A delightful spot, well organised composition and the fine details in rich tones. But the mists draw my attention even more. Well done, Congrats.

what a nice and charmy snapshot is this! I like the peaceful environment with the fountain placed in the correct point in the frame with the two chatting women sitting on the ground to makes the image even more effective.

Hello Mikio,
You show us another very nice composition. It has a fine foreground with the two women enjoying the sun in the park and below them a green slice of the lawn. The dominant view is the spray of water creating a beautifully shaped plume. You have captured the water and the thin haze perfectly. The light is excellent.
