This photograph is taken in Togenuki Jizo in the Kogan-ji compound in Tokyo Sugamo. It is supposed that a sick recovery improvement has profits, and in quest of the profits, a worshipper does not stop focusing on elderly people until it continues up to the present. Since today was Monday of holiday dawn, there were few worshippers. The worshipper poured water on the Kannon (Boddhisattva) by a ladle, and had wiped and purified the body with cloth. It is a spectacle which will not change for dozens years to be seen at this place. The elder seem to maintain tranquility of the heart by carrying out whether it is called faith or superstition. The clothing store and the restaurant are built and located in a line with the approach which goes to a temple at the both sides of the passage. Wholly, it is the store which was conscious of the elder. The elder who finished worship drop in and kill time. It is a frame of the everyday life which changes nothing different from the society which is changing.
