Haneda Airport Spot 101, a photo from 東京, 関東

Reposted with increased image size. I had trouble reducing the original which resulted in some detail being lost.

Haneda is Tokyo's domestic airport and handles a huge volume of air traffic each day.

The time is just before sunset, taken without a flash facing to the North East.

The roads and street lighting look a bit unusual but are part of the transport network linking the main runways and operational area with the Terminal. At this parking position the passengers travel to the aircraft by bus.

The aircraft is a Skynet Asia Boeing 737 400 and is being prepared for departure to Miyazaki.

So this is how it looks from the inside... interesting... I thought it would all be completely digital by now. Would be interesting to see a shot from the same angle just before landing (but I wouldn't like to distract the one landing the plane... ;))

Interresting shot and I would be very interrested to be there during a flight... I didn't know that Skynet Asia is a flight company. For me, Skynet is my internet provider! Happy New year!

I like it. The cockpit of an aircraft is still something special for the common people like us.
But I found it too dark. I propose a WS

Having a little look through your gallery really has me facinated.
This is by far the best cockpit shot from a 737 I have ever seen, good job!
Ok next issue:
Is this a -400 series? I didn't know they had installed glass cockpit, I thought that was reserved for NG (Next Generation) -600/700/800/900?
Then again I might be wrong, last time I was in a cockpit was as a baggage handler 3 years ago, and that was a KLM 737-300 series. Really old bird. Your photo really shows how far the technology has got.

I like the workshop, it puts more detail to the cockpit. But it is far from perfect. I feel that the adjustments just make too much noise.
