Photographer's Note

More of a test shot really. I recently bought myself a Nikon D70 and yesterday was the first chance I had to try it out.

Always loved this place and I've taken lots of daytime shots, so I thought I'd have a go at a night shot.

I've been living in Tokyo for the last couple of years and I'll be leaving next week, so I'm going around taking my last shots of everything. Quite sad really, but on to better things I hope...

Amazing exposure control that you managed to capture so much details! I like your composition as well, with all the horizontal lines leading you right through the scene.

Great picture, looks like a sf scenery for me. Particulary interesting is how curved structures interfere with the regular perspective effect.

Dan, my compliments with your new camera, this image is very great and excellent sharp en clear. The different curve give great perspective, the depth is wonderful, the colours are very really for a night shot.

Hi Dan, happy new year and congatulations for your new camera, I like here the curves coming from both sides to meet in the background, gives nice depth to your photos. All the graphical elements elements of this place also act nicely here.

Well it looks like you're well used to using it. Great shot, good exposure throughout the range, and very sharp. Extraordianry looking place, looks like the set from a sci fi film.

Very good work, I think I have seen this only during the day.....well from the pics on this site, it is a shame I missed it whilst I was in Tokyo last week.

Amazing scenario! you really catch the perspectives in this shot, driving the eye from here to there all through the capture. The DOF is great, and i like the tones and the use of light too.
