This portable shrine is the biggest one in Tokyo area.
The approximate weight is 3.5 ton, so usually one hundred person is always necessary for carrying, of course back-up person are also necessary for two times, that is why this shrine is accompanied by 300 person any time.

Hi Takero.

This moment is very impressive and your shot show us very well.
THe high POV is good too, but maybe the colour are not the best ones. Did you try to change the white balance or the contrast? Maybe the problem is the computer, but I would prefer more vivid colours.

Dear Takero,
I'm very sorry: I've been away for several days and haven't been active on TE... :(
This is an amazing sight - an a unique shot! I can only imagine the impression which it makes if one sees this scene in reality, close to it! especially with the noise around...
3.5 tons - this is really a WEIGHT for a shrine!...

The massive crowd of the porters well captured with the beams of the shrine offering a nice graphical accent. Fine colour contrast between the dominant blue and the golden shrine.
