Photographer's Note
This photograph is taken at Ueno, Tokyo downtown in the morning. Ueno belongs to the downtown area in Tokyo and many train lines and subways have ridden in Ueno Station as a vestibule leading to the outside of the north in Tokyo. As for the circumference of a station, there is divided clearly by two zones of shopping quarter where stores stand in a row greatly and cultural facilities such as the park, the art museum etc,. This photograph is taken on the slope which leads to a shopping center from Ueno Park. A part of JR Ueno Station is visible to a left hand. Left white and a gray building are mass home electronics retailers. Before, here was the building of the restaurant. The category which moves into a business complex has changed every moment, although geographical feature does not change from old times.

Helli Mikio,
This is the modern and hectic view that most of us expect of Tokyo, very different from the quiet and old-fashioned backstreets where you often go. There are lots of details, lots of people seen from this high POV.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Mikio,
I have never been to Tokyo and I guess I will never go there either. I have a daughter who has been there several times and I understand she likes this city very much. This must be a very typical street scene with cars and trains and a lot of people. Still, I can see a very pleasant mood, here, as I have been told exists.
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hi Mikio,
The view down is clever. The composition is well chosen, with excellent combination of light and colors and perfect deep depth of field. The overall composition with the building details and the busy street. Bravo. Have a nice day.
Greetings,
Miro

Hi Mikio
I've always been interested in Japan and the city of Tokyo, it almost seems like another world!
Japan also seems to have a style of architecture, even in the cities, thats unique to only Japan.
love this view here, but its too bad the post is in the way on the right.
love seeing the architecture and how the city is constructed.
cheers

Vibrant town scenery, Mikio, well collected from a high POV over the tumult of the streets.
Without reading any Japanees signs - I can bet on the top-right sign telling no private cars between rush hours on given day... just a wild guess.
Good sharp image, DOF and full pic. filled with details, like the coming rail on left and the pedestrian bridge on right - and all what in between.
Nice photojob done.
Ike
