Tokyo - Shinobazu Pond and Bentendo Temple

This picture is taken in Ueno Park and shows the Shinobazu Pond with Bentendo, a octagonal temple located on a small island in the pond.
This temple is dedicated to Benten, the goddess of good fortune, wealth, music and knowledge.
This place is especially lively during the cherry blossom season when the park is crowded and you can find many food stalls.

The high-rise buildings in the background aren't exactly pretty. Only because of the reflections in the pond I bothered to post this picture.
