Photographer's Note

Now it is in the rainy season in Japan, we have rain almost everday, today is also rainy day.
I took one droplet on a big leaf of Loutas.

Beautiful artistic photo, another fine example of your skills with depth in photography. The little drop off water is like a pool of liquid silver. Really nice macro, thanks for sharing

Konichiwa Takero san
Now that is something new from you. But as with your many pictures from the many beautiful festivals or your dynamic sports photos, you show here again your perfect maitrise of depth of field. The droplet in the middle of this Lotus leaf is perfectly sharp and takes center stage here.

This is stunning obviously a very pleasing study and well captured. The soft colours and treatment work well and gives it a calming effect and with the sunlight, the droplet shines like diamond. The dof is always great for this kind of capture and kudos to you for spotting such a great shot and doing wonders to it! Congrats

Hello Takero

I missed this one when you posted it. But for me it's a winner: simple, clean and graphic. My only slight worry is the shallow depth of field which has rendered the front of the leaf out of focus.
