This is a pond in Tokyo, at the peak time there are full of flowers of Lotus, but it seems to be too early, I only can witness 2 or 3 opening at that time.

Hello Takero,
A very nice photo. You used the narrow DOF perfectly to place the sharpness on the flower. The rest is left in a blur, but not more than we can seethe shape of the pagoda and immediately understand the cultural context of the photo. The blur tells u,s all we need to know.

This is very beautiful, I like the focus a lot. We can still see the shape of the pagoda in the blurred background and the lotus is perfect and so sharp.

Another great capture of a flower, with excellent colors and a perfect use of a narrow depth of field, emphasizing the flower but with the blurred background showing us a beautiful Japanese architecture! Wonderful job!
