Photographer's Note

Since it is not good for health to stay at home all the time, I have taken a walk in the neighborhood. This photograph is taken in Tokyo Yanaka's shopping center. Drinking soft drinks, one man sat on the chair and was resting at the coffee shop on the corner of a shopping center. The companionate pet dog was in the side. Because it is hot on that day, the dog is very so hard, carrying out busy breath. The dog went under a master's step or under the table, and it was moving busily. After a while, they disappeared to the direction of the alley which passes through a shopping center. When I walk along outside in recent years, I see well those who are accompanied by a dog and take a walk in the evening and morning. There are various size and various shaped dogs, too. It seems that the owner is always taking a walk twice per day as a daily lesson. Although I do not keep the dog, probably an owner asks an animal for peacefulness and is filling it with love.

Hello Mikio,
This photo is typical of your quiet style. There is not much happening, nothing dramatic, but it tells a story from daily life of ordinary people. There are some nice details, like the tired dog and its red leash, and generally it gives me a feeling of pleasant satisfaction as a viewer.

Excellent daily life photo showing great care to detail and clarity. Color saturation is natural and very pleasing. Light management is perfect and I love that table the man is sitting at. Loving your POV here, and that cute fat dog, superb presentation Mikio!!

What I like most in this street scene, is the postioning and color blend of an interesting daily life shot in this quiet looking street corner but I like the feel of isolation and the mood. I feel the bright colored dog successfully cheers up the dull looking ambient, creating such good contrast to the almost all grey surroundings. Good observational picture and a geat draw that tells a story.
