Very nice sharp portrait indeed with warm light and an interesting background (drawings, Asahi logo, person, shopsticks).
yes, with a note it would certainly work better.
Let me guess: tired salaryman having lunch in a Sobaya? Thinking of his wife who didn't let him enough money to live decently while she's having vacations in Europe?
Poor sarariman, life's tough.

I would also like a note. One of the reaosn's Furachan's photos have such life is because he brathes a lot of life into it with his words. These sorts of photos are fantastic for that sort of writing. And this shot has a lot of Furachan's style, which I really enjoy. Its a good huanist shot, close, personal, introspective. I just need that note.

Why do people want the note, the life is not soap opera. For the stories we can read Chekhov for example. But during the reading we must imagine a portrait of the hero. Here is the portrait and we must invent the story.

j'aime beaucoup... c'est simple mais il y a un "je ne sais quoi"... Une photo avec une 穃e... bon choix que ne pas lui avoir donn� de titre, cela laisse l'imagination vagabonder...
Un beau n&b aurait peut-黎re 騁� bien aussi...

Bonjour Christian, en lisant votre commentaire, je suis arrive sur votre page, et l� surprise! cela fait bien longtemps que j avais vu cette photo et m en souvenait si bien. Tres dans l esprit de Tokyo, fatigue et cigarette

Bonjour Christian: J'aime beaucop ici l'honnetete de ce cliche, le qotidien, la fatigue si purement capturee - un beau portrait qui aurait pu, remarques etre aussi bon en N/B, ce serait autre chose...
