What a fine action shot!
There is no doubting the pleasure experienced by these rugby players!
Your shallow dof works perfectly, to keep the f/g figures sharp against an oof unobtrusive b/g.

My husband used to play rugby.
I've seen many occasions like this!

Great capture of movement well frozen and exciting close encounters of action packed sports photography and just the right lens to do it with. No doubt you had a very enjoyable day looks like you had good seat judging by the POV this was taken from. Lots of action and expressions but the atmosphere and winning result warmed ones spirits. I particularly like the character who seemed to have dropped the mouth piece! but to me everyone a winner!! Excellent capture, Congrats
