Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken around the graduation ceremony hall of a university in spring four years ago. In a Japanese school system, April is an entrance ceremony and March is a graduation ceremony as a usual practice. A college student finishes the student life for four years, and flies away into society. A cherry tree blooms exactly and this time attaches a flower to a graduation ceremony. It is the end of a long school life (6-3-3-4) for 12 years. I can see a hope through the expression of their faces. There are many female students who wear a hakama like this photograph at a graduation ceremony. They will receive instruction and the education of a senior, and will grow up as a respectable member of society, after they will enter to society. A glacial epoch has employment of the younger age group, and it is placed by severe environment in Japan as well as other foreign countries. Moreover, the guide of corporate management by change of industrial structure is also a difficult time. In such meaning, now social environment differs from the generation who graduated at the high-growth era like me, and was able to keep seeing the future. I wish that some people who can lead the world out of them will grow up.
