Photographer's Note

It is a season of a graduation ceremony this year also. The graduation ceremony of an elementary school, a junior high school, and a high school school had finished lready. Now, the graduation ceremony of the university will continue until the end of March. In a Japanese school system, a graduation ceremony will be held in March and an entrance ceremony will be held the beginning of April. Although the school in general carry out the graduation ceremony with own hall/facilities of school, the school with many graduates borrow the hall which can hold several thousand people, and hold a ceremony. This photograph is taken in front of Nippon Budokan to the site in Kitanomaru National Garden of Tokyo Kudan. Although graduation ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m., many graduates/parents had gathered in front of the hall and talked with their mates. Male students weared formal suit and female students weared traditional clothes("Hakama") mostly. They had the cheerful expression wholly. Most students will work as a member of society from this April. The college life for four years may have been short for them. A certain student concentrates on study, a certain student concentrates on sporting activities, and a certain student was busy with part-time job earning the money. In addition, I think that they found the lifetime friend in college life. If they come out to society, they will work with the staff of various situations in the workplace, and will face many matters which have not learned in school. So, after graduating, it seems to the starting point of life.

the young ladies have would have spent a considerable amount of time preparing for this very attractive scene,they all appear beautifully dressed in traditional kimonos and you have portrayed them very well.
It`s a delightful scene of a significant moment in their lives.
