The girl in black is a villain, a swindler or fraud.
She wisely deceives the girl in gray and robs her wallet. After a big grief, the girl in gray suicides in the river. But finally she gets sanction.
Like this, most of all KABUKI story is "moral".

I like very much the timing of your capture, which introduces us in the story at a crucial moment. The colors are beautiful and the composition well managed. Good idea to have added a detailled note too.
