Photographer's Note

This is a fragment of the roof of the 5-storey pagoda that stands northwest of the Hozomon gate at the Sensoji temple in Asakusa, Tokyo.

I have shot this picture on the first day of my trip around 6 countries in Asia, for which I am opening up a travelogue. Subsequent pictures will also come from Tokyo as well as Seoul, Shanghai, various locales in Thailand and Cambodia, and capped by shots from Singapore.

Post-processing: As with the majority of my shots - some minor cropping, levels, color adjustments, and differential sharpening.

i like the colour and detail. i would like to have seen a third point where it has been cropped. otherwise, a colourful strat to your travelogue. well done
