Wat Xieng Thong is one of the most important temples in the country of Laos. The word "wat" in Lao means temple, in this case, the Temple of the Golden City. Wat Xieng Thong is very old, built around 1560 by King Setthathirat, a patron of Buddhism, who ruled Laos from 1548 to 1571. The temple is located in a beautiful garden on the bank of the Mekong River where the Nam Khan, a smaller river runs into it

Salut Arnaud, wonderful shot!
there is few light, but is a normal thing inside a temple.
the long perspective on the big buddah statue is amazing with all that prayin monks!
good colours and contrast too.

pas facile ces photos d'interieurs... quiq pas totalement convaincu par les tons trop sombres � mon gout et par le manque de lumi鑽e. as tu essay� de les r馼ausser sur PS? dommage, le sujet est bon. oups, j'esp鑽e que ma franchise ne te blesse pas..?

J'aime aussi ce rouge et ce vert, avec cette partie rouge/jaune sur l'autel, qui fait une sorte de transition. On s'y croirait gr稍e au pov, m麥e si je m'interroge sur la gauche du cadrage (j'aurais peut 黎re pr馭駻� une sympetrie totale). Mais bon...
