If you go to Vang Vieng, you should not miss going on a hot air balloon trip.
It's a 40 minute ride for a very reasonable price. We paid 55USD which was a special new years offer. I was told that they normally charge 75USD which is still super cheap. I just compared to prices in Germany and over here you pay up to 400USD!!!

Besides the super cheap offer, it is an unforgettable experience. We went on an early morning flight but next time I think I would go for a sunset flight. I think in the afternoon the views are much better.

Hi Kevin,
Your great balloon point of view turns the landscape into something completely different creating shapes and patterns.
I like the green islands surrounded by the chocolaty brown rivers and the houses dotted everywhere gives us a good idea of the region.

Hallo kevin. Ja, von oben aus dem Airplane sieht die Welt aus wie eine Spielzeugkiste. Aber das Photographieren stellt Photographen meist vor Schwierigkeiten, weil die Fenster nicht klar sind. Mit Deinem Photo ist Dir ein guter Schuss gelungen. Durch Wolkenschleier hindurch ist die Landschaft sehr gut und im detail zu erkennen. gut gemacht. Gruﾟ, Wolfgang.
