Pantai Chenang Sunset, a photo from Kedah, West

Hello friends in TE.

Shooting sunset at the beach full of activities is fun but as the sun begins to disappear, it's harder to keep the moving subjects in its place. This shot was taken with film camera and to get the desired speed, it was taken at EV= -3.

Pantai Chenang is a nice place to unwind. You can eat lots of food and the sunset is superb along the white sandy beach. Trekks Bill visited me in my hometown and we shared great stories and shoot together with Foozi at some of the beautiful places around the northern states. I would like to thank Bill, a fine photographer and a great character to be with. Looking forward to some great posts on TE from him in 2010.

Hi Jusni,

very moody composition. I know I like playing soccer and seeing this makes me think about the every wednesday game I play after work :) But here is scenery is much more interesting. A great play against the light. Well done!

Well, Jusni, I cannot resist to post a comment on this incredibly beautiful capture of the evening light at the beach with such kind of live activities and dynamic mood, all coming from your film sensor and what a great composition to make everything so perfected with skill and i remember well that you were all the time sitting at the edge of the sand watching and observing every move on the beach. This is a great one to present your sharp eye.

The picture is a bit grainy, but it does not really affect the beauty of this image!
I quite like its colors, its management of light, its pov and composition, with those guys playing in the beach and that wonderful sunset for testimony!

So you have orange sunsets too!!!
I like the inclusion of the silhouetted children in the foreground, they add so much life to the scene.
Good POV and composition, you have a good balance between water and sky.

Hello Jusni, very fine image you reproduced from your film camera,I like the rich colours and the activities that are going on the beach, football, rowing, windsurfing& others just enjoying in conversation, there is quite a bit of interest. I don't see Bill there, I wonder what he was photographing at this instance. I agree with you on your comments on Bill, a gentleman.

Midwinter on the beach, looks very attractive to me!
Some playing football, some out in boats and some just admiring the wonderful sunset...

Once again a master stroke with your film photography turned into digital, I really like the shot. I would love to have the experience and time - I guess it takes a lot of time to develop films and digitalize the result - you have a lot of patient, congrats. It's clever of the youngster to play at sunset, it is not so hot and you have the breeze of the sea. Thanks for sharing

I believe that the medium format digital do not surpassed the film quality. Very beautiful sunset over the beach. The scene is lively and fun with the kids playing football. Enjoy summer!
