Colourful garlands, a photo from Kuala Lumpur, West

Here's the close up of the garlands in my previous photo here
The time I took this photo about 11:40AM and some stalls were open for business. I am not sure how often devotees will wear these. They do look pretty and colorful.

No flash was used in this photo and lights are from the surrounding. The bottom part of the garlands was over exposed slightly. The could be due to the parasol on top didn't provide shading.

This photo is heavily cropped to focus on these garlands. Adjusted contrast and sharpness.

Chai, going vertical or potrait with these garlands was thoughtful. I don't see anything over exposed where you mentioned. Except maybe the faded red stool with blue pail, is a bit distracting.

You came back with a close-up shot of the flowers. This looked good but still, it lack the activities. Maybe you ought to wait for a few hand or two reaching for the flowers. What do you think bout it??

Very good cropping and DOF.
I like the colorful subject... but if it was mine, I'd try to desaturate the background objjects a little.

It is colorful and perfectly sharp, almost all same flowers used in India to make garlands, I miss a bit a person or a conterweight in the picture, the small part of the bucket is not enough but on itself is a good subject in a perfect perspective well chosen view.

Lovely flowers and the exposure looks to be right on the money though one of the yellow flowers does appear to be tad bright. A little dodgeing might tone it done a bit but I don't think it is to critical. As an after thought, I am not sure the step stool and buck add to the image.

A shot where the colours are beautifully recorded. Not using the flash is a good move and I always prefer natural lighting too. Glad that you appreciate these garlands and flowers. Well seen and captured!! Have a nice day.
