WS 01 - Japanese Garden
WS 02 - Japanese Garden
This Japanese house is different from typical Japanese house with installed glass doors. You can rent a Traditional Japanese costume and make yourself in a Japanese look, then take photos around these Japanese houses with posture feeding fishes and light up the lamp.
More detail about this Japanese Village in my previous post.

Dear Aly,
The photo reflects tranqsuility. The low POV is excellent to catch the scene, with a nice play of grey and green tones.

Hi Ally,
The stairs lead my eyes right up to the house, and so much green too. Like the last photo, not really a great deal of light which is a shame, but there's nothing you can do about that!
It looks to me like you've put a photoshop gradient on the sky?? Only advice I could give it to make sure you only do put the gradient on the sky, as here it's going over the trees. You can make sure you select the correct part of the photo by using the 'select colour range' range tool in photoshop, then only apply the gradient to the part selected.
Hope this helps, regards :)

Nice ascending point of view which is very suitable to the main topic here, the stairs.
The electrical light inside the house is probably the weak point here.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Ol Ally, no red fishes at sight here, but instead we have a very nice perspective of the stones leading us to the japanese house and even best, to the 2 ladies seen inside. They are a small but very important detail that humanize the picture. Both WSs are fine complementar details.

Hello Ally,
It's a very good composition. The path and the house are completely surrounded by nice tropical vegetation. I find the combination of the green trees and the blue sky above and next the house very beautiful.
Best regards, Paul

Bonjour Ally.
Cette s駻ie sur ce jardin japonais est tr鑚 int駻essante. L'eau et les pierres du premier plan sont en harmonie avec la v馮騁ation. Ce doit 黎re tr鑚 agr饌ble de vivre dans un lieu pareil.

Hello Ally,
another interesting view and very good composition! the stones lead the look right up to the house in which light is on and people are sitting in such an inviting manner :) Quite a relaxing, tranquil scene... interesting details! I wish I could escape from the megapolis stressed life into such a fairy-talish scene.
Concerning the sky which looks a bit too post-processed... maybe it would've been better to leave the sky white?
best regards,
Elena

This version of the Japanese Garden is very attractive too with the stone steps leading up to the house. Good composition.
I have seen many people shooting this resort but not from this angle. Good work.

Hello Ally,
The point of view creates a superb lead-in to the house!
A great composition with a fine feeling of depth, good sharpness close and far and the colours are well reproduced...
Good light makes the different elements in the frame stand out well!
Greetings,

Hi Ally! Really I admire the thought and the philosophical opinion of Japaneses of designers of home and gardens. You have attributed precisely the architecture that has a lot of interesting elements

Hi Ally,
The stairs leading us toward the house is an asset to the composition. The garden is framing well the stairs. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the house. The picture is clear and sharp. The colors are enhanced by the good light. Have a nice day.

Hi Ally,
This series of yours on these Japanese gardens are very beautiful and achieved. This one stands out even in the thumbnail. It's simply lovely, and one feels eager to be there enjoying all that peaceful and finely designed and cared beauty. You did a wonderful great compo, with the stream on the FG and the stair leading the eye to the house, which curiously is horizontally centred, but looks like being graciously to the right.
It's good to know that 50 years after the Japanese occupation of Malaysia there is such peaceful Japanese presence in your country.
Regards, Jos.
