It is as Saule says a strong and disturbing image to see the women fighting....maybe there are few women press photographers in Pakistan.....I don't see the men smiling so much as excited by the chance to get an active and powerful picture...they would be like this in any situation...at first i was disturbed by this ring of men being round a ring of women like Saule ....but in a nation where the seperation is different than the value context i inhabit i guess that is to be expected....perhaps as men with greater physical strength one of them at least looks as if he might know better how to deal with situation.....in the UK women officers are often sent to certain situations to diffuse them before they get out of hand.......particularly involving young males - here it looks as if things are already out of hand ........
A couple of the women police officers appear to find this amusing at some level too......perhaps your picture shows us something a little ambiguous here......I'm sure printed in black and white on tomorrows front page it will look much worse than it really was!!
Out of all these guys anyway...you got the shot.....
Not with a camera...but a few times I've seen women fighting in streets, shops or clubs - things can get very vicious when women discover or display this side of their natures...
...disturbing.....
best wishes Kev

hello, my second comment will be for this astonishing shot. AS an occidenatl woman, I am very surprised to see that only women can separate women fighting together. This is actually how it looks like. I never realized it before. The shot itself is very strong, they are in the middle, they are beautiful in their clothes and their hairs are well . Around, other people seemed more regular in the way they appear.
