Photographer's Note
The rice terraces here appear to coexist with the village. Or will the village, as it grows, lead to the decline in acreage of the terraces? I asked this question to myself as our bus passed by this town.

Hi Danilo,
This is one of the best I have seen from the rice terraces... Not only because the image is well composed and with fine tech qualities but also because you depict the main subject in its environment and makes the system understandable!
Good lines as always with the terraces, probably hard to go wrong there... The saturated colours work fine!

wow! never saw this angle of the terraces before. Your picture makes me think: look at what our ancestors did, and look at what we are doing!

Hi Danilo. Looks a little like an abstract painting with bright colours applied straight from the tube on the left of the3 picture. The sense of distance is conveyed very well and the PoV is most effective. Well done. Regards. Klaudio

Dear Danilo
You show us something which is beyond the mere beauty of the place. True rice terraces are beautifully photogenic but the coexistence of the two necessities shelter & food is shown here wonderfully. Sometimes the balance of the environment gets affected by this. Nice saturated colours to show us something uniquely beautiful. Thank you Danilo

Hi Dan,
This reminds me of the shots i took of the same town...its name is Bay-Yo. Great shot! I went down to the town and it is a one lane road with some blind spots. That chapel is named San Pablo.
Mabuhay!

Hi Danilo. Excellent POV to give this strong diagonal effect. These terreces have a long history and lets hope they don't get gobbled up with expansion of villages as happens too often. Where we live here in Sydney used to be stonefruit orchards apaerntly so it is a wide problem. TFS. Murray.

You've composed this well, Danilo, providing a nice balance between the village, the rice terraces and the background mountains. Good exposure and saturation. Cheers . . . david
