Palawan

Palawan is a very attractive island with beautiful empty beaches, untouched natural scenery, and friendly inhabitants. I could only wish that I spent more time here. This regret has prompted me in plans to revisit and explore unseen parts of the island. Palawan is in the southwest part of the Philippines, is 400 km long and only 40 km wide.

The cliffs of and limestone caves of this place are home to countless 'swallows' nests which are used to make that Oriental delicacy 'birds' nest soup.
