Photographer's Note
Being located in the tropics (one degree off the equator) Singapore has some spectacular rain showers. You can be enjoying a beautiful bright and sunny day one moment, and soaked by torrential rains seemingly the next.
Thankfully, due to the heat and humidity- that can actually be quite pleasant.
This shot was taken just after one of those downpours. What caught my eye was the way the droplets of water looked like mercury.
Hope you like it,
- Dan

Soft coloring and perfect DOF with a fine light green to hold your diamonds makes this pleasant to look at. Very well done, Dan.

nice macro with an overall green tone...delicate and pleasant.
the DOF is right and the light is good for the reflections on the water drops
Nice Dan

Pretty. But I think it can be improved man.
I suggest selecting the main leaf to a new layer and some heavy levels and curves adj to the 2 layers so as to focus on darkening the background and highlighting the leaf.
Hope this is helpful man!

Dan,hie. We being in the same time zone pretty much have the same weather and its attitudes. Just goes to show why your raindrops looked like mine. And so is our camera and the filter we are using. Never done like you said, using double polarizers. I'd imagine it would neutralize or negate each other polarizing but definitely creating a much more underexposure. Unless you used a higher ISO but I hate the grains.
Just be careful when focusing on raindrops. When there's too many of them, people tend to feel confused which one to look at. I usually look for leave which has waxed like epidermial coating. The raindrop is usually bigger and rounder.

It is a beautiful macro Dan! Water is so well rendered on the leaf. The depth of field is excellent.
Nice composition!

Nice Macro Dan. Good DOF demo and nice how you present the water on the tomato leaf. Didn't realise you had green fingers!

An excellent macro shot, Dan. Good DOF. The water droplets on the leaves look so heavy, I am surprised that they just hang there. Wonderful detail and colours. Well done.

if simple and so beautiful, the light is really very beautiful, likes the small drops and particular framing, well done.
