It was about 36 degrees that day. You can see the man sweating on the left. The girl is attracted by the peeled pineapples. Sathorn pier is located adjacent to the�Saphan taksin station, making this location the only place for commuters to transfer between the Chao phraya express boat service and the Bangkok�Bts skytrain�Silom line�rail service. Hello Miguel,
It's a nice snapshot with good light and colours. In that kind of heat I would personally be more tempted by a glass of cold water than a sweet fruit, but these nicely arranged fruits are a lot more attractive for photos.

Hello Miguel,

You may not believe me, but in December 1999 around Christmas time it was only 16c high in Bangkok! It felt weird walking around in a coat, which I had brought for my side trip to Nepal later in the new Millenium. In 20 previous visits it had always been 36c, 39c & even 40c! They had frost in Chiang Mai too. Good daily life scene here and the carved pineapple or mango slices look mouth watering. I would put them in the hotel refrigerator for 30 mins or so then eat them. Tfs!
