Photographer's Note
*note added 13/11/04*
This is a close up of spiral shaped, hanging incense in a chinese buddhist temple in Cholon. The light beaming through them , causing huge contrast, was irrestibile. I cropped in close using my telephoto.

Hi Morgan. I really like this shot, although I don't really know what it is. The repetitive shapes are calming. I also like the choice of b/w. Good use of shadows. A note would have been helpful. Thanks, Don.

This looks like the selective color-replacement tool view in photoshop. I like the abstract nature of the photo and the fact that the background is completely hidden. However I can't help wondering if it would be better if the lines didn't completely disappear into shadows.
