She was working in the toll-booth at the end of the pontoon bridge in Ha Tien.
I was hoping to take a photo without being seen, but she noticed me just as I was about to press the shutter: having been caught I showed her the image on the screen and luckily she didn't seem to mind........

WEll Brian.
I think you tilted the cam a little bit to the left.. but the look and the lite is perfectly "catched"..

I think it is a very difficult light and you got it very beautiful...I even like that she is looking at you (I prefer people being aware of it and seeing their eyes)..

p.s. How is that 1.8 lens? I rarely use mine...in fact, it stays at home...as expected, the fixed thing irritates the hell out of me! grrrr!

Hi Brian,
exposure wasn't easy to manage but you had a good result.
I like the warm atmosphere inside this house.
I like her glance a bit lost.

She looks almost like a painting hanging on a wall.
I like the contrast between the golden light on the girl, and the darkness in the rest of the image.
I'd have preferred it if you had kept the window vertical in the frame, but otherwise this is an excellent shot.
