Photographer's Note
A view northwards from the Pinzgauer Spaziergang walking track near Zell am See. Here we see the rocky limestone range known as Leoganger Steinberger. In the foreground are patches of pink rhododendrons, or alpine rose as they are called here. The Pinzgauer Spaziergang is regarded as one of Austria's finest walks, and I agree. There are many other walking trails branching off it and heading down to the valleys to the north and south, so you could spend weeks exploring them all.

Hi Vince
Another great one from the Austria mountain area. Good depth of field and very natural colour. Even better in the large view.

Hi Vincent
Magnificent landscape shown in lovely colours, from vivid greens to the bluish mountains in the distance. Great composition based on a diagol line.
Best wishes

Hello Vincent,
This is one of those photographs which immediately shows a fine composition, with different layers, showing different colours and textures, overlapping each other, first, on a diagonal and then more traditionally horizontal.
A really beautiful piece of scenery.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Vincent,
I really like the contrast between the diagonal row of trees in the foreground and the slightly hazy view of the mountain peaks in the distance. Very well captured from a great vantage point.

Hi Vincent,
Great panorama with a good contrast with forest and mountains and with green tones and mineral hues for slopes and peaks, tfs.

Hi Vince
I have been to Upper Austria & Salzburg, and apparently some parts of the Sound of Music were filmed there, rather than more expensive Switzerland to the west. With scenes like this it's not hard to work out why they filmed here. Good sharpness and the diagonal forest adds dynamism. Tfs!

Hello Vince,
Superb nature picture with the three distinct layers.
The diagonal lines in the foreground provide an attractive composition.

Hi Vincent,
I lived in Munich for 3-4 years so I was a frequent guest in Austrian Alps but ironically, since I didn't own a car I was always driven there by firends so I never managed to memorize the places I actually visited.
This is a spectacular sight. Very well composed with multiple layers of composition. Some vertical other diagonal.
Excellent final effect,
M

Hello Vincent,
I noticed that you have recently shown a lot of photos from your trip to Austria from three years ago. I like this composition with forest diagonally placed in the FG and Alps on the horizon.
Well done with good quality.
Best regards,

Hello Vincent,
This scenery is so pretty and calming; I'd like to be there right now...I like the vibrant green color in the foreground, and then the more muted colors of the mountains and trees in the distance. The diagonal line of trees is a nice divider between both sections of the photo. Take care!
