Hochosterwitz church, a photo from Carinthia, West

Photographer's Note

This is the little church in the castle complex of Hochosterwitz. The view is from the fortified path that winds up the hill to the castle at the top, looking west. We were lucky to get a sunny day here, which makes everything look bright and cheerful. I made sure the man in the bright orange pants was in the shot - he adds a little bit of hot colour to a scene full of green and blue.

Great capture of such a beautiful countryside with beautiful light, abundant of greens and interest throughout. The imposing church as a strong point especially adds to the serenity while speck of vivid red is an interesting addition as well. Simply glorious shot, looked a perfect day for a walk.

indeed the glorious weather made a huge difference here. The colors are stunniung so well saturated and natural.
The tower adds some character, something to ficus on while behind we have a spectacular sight.

Spectacular situation of this beautiful church, on the edge of a promontory that serves as protection, the view of the valley is wonderful with the mountains covered with trees. another part of the room in the WS equally beautiful.
Very good color that highlights the image.

this is easily a wow scene for me, I wish I could be here to see it in person. its a very clear day for sure, the depth is great. what a stunning scenery, just made for photographers.
