That blue works perfect as a background for a wonderful building like Mus馥 de la ville de Bruxelles.

The Brussels City Museum is dedicated to the history and folklore of the City of Brussels from its foundation to modern times, which it presents through paintings, sculptures, tapestries, engravings, photos and models, including a notable scale-representation of the town during the Middle Ages.

Conceived in 1860 and inaugurated in 1887, the museum is situated opposite Brussels' Town Hall, in the Maison du Roi ("King's House") or Broodhuis ("Bread hall"). The building, in the Gothic Revival style, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as part of the square.

Hello Daniel, you are quite right, the very blue sky is the perfect background for this beautiful building. The sunlight has highlighted all the architectural details.
The foreground is in shadow to the extent that some of the people are simply silhouettes.
Excellent sharpness.

yes indeed the bright blue winter sky makes a great backdrop and its harsh light you have managed well. I really like the people in and out of the shadowed area.

The city hall of Brussels is indeed one of the most beautiful of Europe.
An excellent panorama view, and great architecture.
Colours are very soft to look at.

Daniel, i remember this place located in Brussels historical center. It contains elegant and old buildings. The square is very popular, it attracts both tourists and locals. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Hi Daniel,
I had the satisfaction to visit Belgium last year but it was just a day trip to Bruges and so Brussels is still on my list. I have been there on a business trip meaning I didn't see anything.

Beautiful capture here. It was a great weather day which makes a huge difference. The resulting colors are so well saturated.
Great sharpness which allows us to enjoy the beauty of architecture.
I like the dark silhouettes of people walking the square.
