Hello John,
A bad day for tourist business but a good day for photography. Wonderful clear and bright weather and lots of horse-carriages assembled in front of the large building. You managed a good exposure and fantastic sharpness, just as always.

Irresistible spot as famous as the canals with lots of history, highlighting the iconic buildings and the market square. A very handsome shot John! I like how you've done a sweep of the square around with those carriages - they seem to suit the architecture and historical look of the landmark. So photogenic, I like the colours, shapes in the roofs and this was obviously a good weather day. And very interesting info you provided too. Congrats

Hello John,

I think I told you previously that I had a ride in one of these carriages and found it an interesting way to get an overview of the city.

It is a surprise to see so many of them standing idle but it was perfect for you, to gain an opportunity to use them in your photograph.
Your photograph has lots of interesting points, the tourists, the flags and the beautiful building, as well as the carriages. You did an excellent job of placing the building so nicely symmetrical in the b/g.

Hi John,
I recognize this place. I have showed three photos from this square and yet this again shows a different angle.
Very impressive spot, also people wearing thick clothes indicate quite a different atmosphere in comparison to how I remember this place, it was very hot when I was there last year.
Very good side light subtly touching the facades.
