BRUGES.
Due to the relaxation in Flanders, I went back to Bruges but a bad day a little misty sky.
This is my first Saturday outing since the start of Covid-19, so 18 months ago.
We are both vaccinated, my wife and myself.
Few people, and certainly very few tourists, are in Bruges.
This photo was taken 100 meters from the Grote Markt.
St Jacobstraat, Geldmuntsraat, Eiermarkt, normally one of the busiest city center intersections.
As you can see very quiet and calm.
I saw many shops that are gone, and no big sale anywhere.
This is the aftermath of corona; will it still be good times my life pay attention to my age
I hope you like it

Hello John,
This is a brand new photo, almost like a news report. It shows a beautiful corner of Bruges, where the buildings are of different styles but they are all attractive and properly maintained. A few persons are nicely included to make the view more lively. Luckily I see no electric kick-bikes that have become a real nuisance in many cities, including where I live.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi John,
The presence of the persons is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings of the center of Bruges. It is clear and precise. Have a nice day.

Hello John, just a few people about, but not enough to distract our view from the variety of building styles.
The tops of the buildings stand out against the grey sky.
Excellent sharpness.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hallo John,
Vele groeten, Paul

Hi John
A charming old town scene, and lively where focus is directed into the heart of picture - the imposing old style buildings depicting the character and style of the architecture with lovely blend of colours. The exposure is seamless, well done shot

Hi John
Bruges at its quietest, very unlike when I visited. The overcast sky meant very even light for you so there is good detail everywhere and more so in the large view.
cheers

Hi John,
Bruges is such a touristic city, it surely has changed during last 18 months. And on a rainy day there are not much locals on the move either. But buildings are impressive as always.

Hallo John,

Dear John,
It is a nicely done photo. The overcast sky helped to improve the tones and colours of the scene.
Best Wishes,

Hello John,
The dull sky and empty square seem to match the shadow of COVID hanging over the world. Still, the buildings are all charming, and I especially like the brick one with the red-trimmed windows. Many shops and restaurants have also disappeared here in NYC. Take care!

Hello John,
It is hard to imagine just how many restrictions we have all endured during the last 18 months but you must have felt a great sense of freedom to be able to visit your favourite city, at last!
Sadly, the weather was not in your favour and the usual groups of excited tourists were not to be found but even in bad weather, the beauty of the Bruges buildings cannot be denied! You have still be able to capture the sharp details of the buildings, with good colours, despite the weather.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello John,
Good sharpness with a pleasant diffused light. The cyclists animate the scene. The distinctive stepped roof of the building with the the red portico is eye catching. Tfs!

Hi John.
Surprising composition of the city center, incredible to see it so empty, also in summer where it should be with the bustle of people and tourists, terrible the impact that the Covid has made everywhere, so if possible the buildings look more impressive with their nice facades.
A magnificent range of colors, good brightness and sharpngess management.
Very well done. Love it.
Have a great day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hi John,
beautiful town centre indeed. I like the attractive architecture of the townhouses and also a nice wide foreground with plenty of patterns. We can see three bikes in there which add a repeated motif across the frame.
The weather was not my favourite but you did a great job under these circumstances,
great quality,
M

Hi John,
The grey sky results in very even lighting throughout the photo, so it is easier to take a well exposed photo and to see details of the interesting architecture everywhere. The sharpness is excellent, and the colours are natural. I don't like crowds, so this quiet scene looks perfect to me. I am sure the shops will open again, maybe with new owners.

Mid-summer rainy day, John, but the wet paved square shining and colors were enhanced.
Outcome was fairly well, considering the weather.
Exquisite styled building all around.
Good evening,

Hello John,
Nice plaza surrounded by pretty facades. I like the presence of bicycles in three modes: one being ridden, one being walked, and one parked.
