A new bike ride far from people for COVID-19
I saw the cows in the pasture, this gives reason to stop and to picture the beautiful flat land.
The clouds brought a little thunder, so I had to bring myself to safety on the farm.

Unbelievable what a nasty feeling it gives nobody to see, just an agricultural vehicle in the field.
Damme was a dead city, NO ONE HAVE I SEEN
Never experienced however I am almost eighty years old

This photo was taken in the afternoon, many people no longer want to stay at home, but the government gives the green light for cycling or walking.
But I keep enough distance when I see someone

Hallo John,
Wat een geweldige lucht bezit deze foto!
De koeien kijken er echter niet van op. Voor hen vormt de fotograaf de grootste belevenis.
Prachtige landschapsfoto met terecht de meeste ruimte gereserveerd voor de wolken.
Mooi gedaan!

Hello John,
I can see from the dates of your photos that you go on a bicycle trip about 3-4 times each week. I can also follow the changing patterns of the weather in Belgium. Yesterday it was nice to start with, but the clouds look rather dramatic and turned into the thunderstorm you mention. There was no drama in the fields. The cows were completely calm and had nothing better to do than to stare at you. Perhaps you were the only person they saw the whole day.

Hallo John, these cows are reared free. They enjoy space and are grazing in the vast pasture. That breed produces good milk. Another photo that highlightes the Flanders countryside beauty. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

I liked the sense of movement of these clouds. nice inclusion of the cows in FG with this row of dry herbs creating a diagonal.

Dear John,

Thank you for your kind note telling me that you ride more than 50 km per day on your bike rides - that is a lot - but how wonderful to be able to enjoy the countryside and also keep distance from other people for Covid-19!

And here is a picture from yesterday - a beautiful day with fresh green grass for the cows to graze happily but, as you say, not another human being in sight! So sad.

And I was sorry that you were caught in heavy rain after the thunder.

But a beautiful photograph with lovely light, rich colours and excellent detail and sharpness.

Hallo John,
Mooie grote witte wolken boven het nu nog zonnige landschap, maar waarschijnlijk duurde het niet lang of de zon en de blauwe lucht waren geheel verdreven. De koeien staan nog vredig in het frisgroene weiland, nog onbewust van het aanstaande onweer. Mooie landschapsfoto.

Hello John,

WE, too, are experiencing much more changeable weather, much like you would expect in April. The beautiful, warm three weeks, previous, have been a great bonus.

This is very much like a painting, lots of attention paid to the sky, which has a slightly threatening appeal, contrasting strongly with the calm, bucolic atmosphere of the field.
Lovely natural colours in your fine composition.

A lovely pastoral scene and very lush with the grazing sheep grabbing the eyes just enough of the whole thing seen so close what's going on. The brewing clouds look quite dramatic to finish off.

Very nice photo with this country landscape, with the cows, the green fields and the grove, but what makes this photo spectacular is that wonderful sky, which we cannot always combine with a good landscape.
