Photographer's Note

The autumn period is one of the most beautiful periods for photographers here in our environment.
The canals and ways are beautiful decoration of lovely autumn colours through the leaves.
Early in the morning can you make the splendid pictures through the little bit misty about the water or earth.
You can see the Leopolds canal and the way beside, this are place where very a lot bikers a and tourist the follow the specially bike trips.
Again I have try very nice perspective and colour to give at this picture.

Good use of double perspective in this one, John, and a nice mood rendered by the autumn light and the seasonal colors that come out in a rather luminous way. A refreshing still life in which I also like the fallen foliage on the ground.

Dag, John. Hier kan men heel goed de overgang van schaduw naar zon waarnemen. Er zijn twee aparte delen in uw foto: de wereld van de schaduw an de wereld van het licht. Het perspectief is zoals gewoonlijk uitstekend, maar ik vind wel dat het bovenste deel in het midden een beetje overbelicht is.

The main attraction of this shot is for sure the light., I like the way you captured the rays of light coming in from the top part of the picture enhancing the yellow colours of the leaves on the trees.

The other day, at home, I was just thinking about how to express to you, all the things your awesome pictures makes me feel, and I just arrived to a conclusion, your pictures they are just like fairy tales, gives us beauty, magic, misterious items, and they are just a great master piece of art, I am so so glad to be able to watch them every day.

Very well taken, John, of course some overexposure is there, but I understand that you had a difficult light and had to measure exposure on the left, otherwise the path would be dark. Excellent perspective and the small tree provides a fg interrest. A ray of light in the end of the "tunnel" is fantastic!

tja ik vind hem fraai,
er is iemand die spreekt hier van ondanks het tegenlicht, maar deze ziet dus niet dat U juist gebruik maakt van dit licht ten behoeve van de compositie. Nee, mooie pov, goede compositie, prachtig werk.

I like the original angle you've used here. I usually see a composition with only the 'tunnel effect' of the trees, but you've added something extra and made it even more beautiful. The light is cool, very strong and makes a great mystric atmosphere. Interestingly, the brighter part on the right is echoed by the beam of light in the deep ends of the 'tree tunnel'. Great work, tfs!

Hi John,
Despite some overexposure near the top of the frame, the depth obtained and wonderful autumn hues makes this an effective shot. Its as if the overwhelming warmth of the autumn sun pervades every part of life. I very much like the tunnel like effect with the pathway on the left. Well captured.

Hi John, this is a typical image from you with a very strong perspective, but what I like here is the way it seems to have two diferent situations, with diferent lighting, because the line of trees are a filter to the sunlight. On the right side I love that magical explosion of light and colors. Really beautiful!

Hi John,
Splendid shot, with this direct light on the mist of the morning, which offers us a few sheens and a spectacular luminosity.
Great perspective of the road and of the channel to his side, I like the color of the water with his yellow reflections of the autumnal vegetation, and the beams of the Sun that penetrate between the trees of the road, in background, and that illuminate the mist in a great visual effect.
It is fantastic.

Goedemorgen John, inderdaad weer uw befaamde eindeloze perspectief hier. De ochtendkleuren zijn prachtig in dit herfsttafereel. De blaadjes vormen een mooi weglopend patroon en de mist en het camerastandpunt maken het af. Prachtig werk John en het frame bevalt me ook goed.
Goed weekend uit een nog schemerig en wat mistig Rotterdam bij 8 graden,

I kinda glanced at some of the pictures that you've posted since I've been away from TE and I immediately felt like I needed to comment on this beautiful shot. Like PJE (Paul Enns), I'm becoming a sucker for mist and your picture contains such a wonderful glow through that mist rising off the water. Again, you take such wonderful advantage of that wide angle lens and we see it here. It is nice to see the two completely different lighting situations you've contained in this shot. This is a wonderful shot, but it is still one-point perspective, with all the lines converging at a single vanishing-point. The sharpness of the foreground and the misty appearance of the background stand in contrast to each other, producing a remarkable picture. Well done,
