Early in morning with my bike, again almost 30ｰCelsius but the route under the trees, was very pleasant for biking.
I've never difficult with hot weather but cold (frost and snow) is my enemy

MEIBOS LAKE.
Where are the Meibos ponds located?

The Meibos ponds are located a few hundred meters from the village center of Sijsele in the province of West Flanders. In a green environment you can enjoy an oasis of peace.
All fishing methods are applied. Fixed pole, feeder, match rod, etc ...
Pike, zander and eel are also fished.
The carp fisherman will certainly find something to his liking.

Hello John,

I'm sure you enjoyed the shade of the trees, even if you do enjoy hot weather!
30 degrees is pretty hot for biking!
This is a pretty scene.
The predominance of green and blue make it seem particularly rural.
I like your composition, using the lily pads to anchor the f/g and to act as a natural guide to the reflections of the trees and bushes, which we encounter before seeing the originals!
The whole scene is very well exposed for sharpness and colours.

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The wideness of the lake is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the vegetation. The light is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello John,
It's good for you that you can take the heat so well. Otherwise you could not have reached this place with such a fine view of the lake with tall trees and low bushes perfectly reflected. The waterlilies nicely fill parts of the foreground. The colours are beautifully intense.

Een prachtige zomerse natuurfoto!
De regelmaat waarmee aan de overzijde de kleinere bomen (of struiken) aangeplant zijn, zorgt hier voor een geweldige compositie.
Zeer mooi met de waterplanten links vooraan en natuurlijk met de weerspiegelingen.

Hallo John, that pond represents a perfect recreational area near Sijsele. To have a pic nic, to fish, to relax are the different activities possible here. Some water lilies grow in the water. The tree line is reflecting on its surface. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
