The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The wideness of the fields is ginving a sense of depth. The point of view is showing the details of the trees. The colors and the sharpness are very good. Have a nice day.

Hello John,
The flooding may have caused damage to the land, but it created good photo conditions. There are many beautiful reflections in the perfectly calm water. I like the green diagonals of grass just above the surface, and just for once the electricity wires fill a function for the composition by going on opposing diagonals.

Hallo John,
Indien je de werkelijke situatie niet kent, lijkt het wel een heel natuurlijk landschap.
Heel mooie compositie met de diagnonale lijn van de droge groene berm op de voorgrond.
Wat verder zien we kleine 'eilandjes' van het hogere gras dat boven het wateroppervlak uitsteekt.
Ik vind de weerspiegelingen van de wilgen echt prachtig, alsook de overheerende blauwe kleur van de foto.

Hi John,
I am not sure whether the flood has caused any damage, but surely looks very photogenic. The abundance of water and also a very smooth surface of water allowed a stunning reflection.
I like in particular the reflections of the naked trees in the distance.

Hello John,

Climate Change is definitely having a profound effect. Of course, when the land is flat, as in Belgium and The Netherlands, it is hard for the water to drain naturally!

Despite the unhappy consequences of the weather, the standing water makes a very attractive option for a photograph! With this bright, blue sky and fine reflections of the winter trees, the scene looks lovely, just what you would see on a lake.
As always, you have chosen a good viewpoint, to get the best from the angled lines of the fences and banks.
