View of the most famous bridge of Mostar.
Stari Most (English: Old Bridge) is a reconstruction of a 16th-century Ottoman bridge in the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina that crosses the river Neretva and connects two parts of the city. The Old Bridge stood for 427 years, until it was destroyed on 9 November 1993 by Croat forces during the Croat烹osniak War.
After the end of the war, plans were raised to reconstruct the bridge. It was decided to build a bridge as similar as possible to the original, using the same technology and materials. The bridge was re-built with local materials , using Ottoman construction techniques.Reconstruction commenced on 7 June 2001. The reconstructed bridge was inaugurated on 23 July 2004./wiki/

cześć Piotrze, piękna kompozycja nowy stary most, w prześwicie meczet, ciekawe budynki po bokach. Super niebo, kolory, na moście przechadzaja się ludzie, moze jakiś smiałek skoczy do wody?
Byłam w Jugosławii w pamiętnym 1968 roku, to był dla nsa wtedy "zachod". I most był jeszcze stary. I po co to cos burzyć, zeby potem odbudowywać? I żadnej lekcji nie wyciągnięto, teraz Palmyra jest wysadzona w powietrze.

Czesc Piotr! Slynny most w Mostarze! Piekne odbicie w wodzie. Ladna pogoda, byla Twoim sprzymierzencem. Sprzyjaly Ci bogowie, byli dla Ciebie laskawi. Podoba mi sie kadr. Podoba mi sie format i ramka. Poznalem kiedys faceta w Belgradzie, ktory byl zaprzysieglym kibicem klubu Velez Mostar, wiec patrze na to zdjecie z podwojnym sentymentem. Czesc Piotr,
tak sobie wlasnie myslalem ogladajac Twoje zdjecia z Chorwacji czy wybrales sie do Mostaru bo mnie to wlasnie kusi. Pobyc w okolicach Dubrownika i skoczyc w jedna strone do Mostaru a w druga do Kotor/Budwa.
Innymi slowy w przyszlym roku jesli moje plany sie powioda moze powtorze Twoje wakacje.
Swietny POV, jeszcze nie widzialem zdjecia tego slawnego mostu z tej perspektywy zawsze jest pokazany z tego samego poziomu co most i wtedy wydaje sie nieco mniejszy. Patrzac z dolu i widzac te male sylwetki ludzi na moscie wydaje sie ze to dosyc duze.
Swietne odbicie: udalo Ci sie zrobic z tego kolo, w dodatku widac miasto z meczetem po drugiej stronie. Niebo rowniez dopisalo z mnostwem ciekawych chmurek.
Nic dodac nic ujac.

this is one of the loveliest and most impressive pictures of Mostar Bridge I've seen. Your point of view was well chosen and very effective, you put the Bridge, the banks and the reflection against a superb contrasting backdrop, they look so attractive and interesting in the strong and clear light. Very nice capture of this lovely scene and its history Piotr. I can remember this bridge destroyed during the fighting at that time. Nice to see they re-built it again. You do have a good idea of composition and contrast to deep polarised blue sky & water is remarkable. Hopefully there will be no more destruction there. A lovely image, Congrats

Yes Piotr, it is a landmark bridge, and I remember how it was damaged in the 1993 war, but fortunately rebuilt and a tourists attraction yet again.

it is very important to replace the monuments, even if they aren't completely original, the most important is the image and the presence of the history there, like something immortal. very nice this view showing the classic POV. TFS.
