Ich war wieder einige Tage in Bosnien, in der N臧e von Selo-prijedor, Brčko.
Unter dem Begriff Bosnienkrieg wird der Krieg in Bosnien und Herzegowina von 1992 bis 1995 in Jugoslawien bezeichnet.
I was again in Bosnia for a few days, near Selo-prijedor, Brčko.
The term Bosnian war means the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1995 in Yugoslavia.

Hello Wolfgang,
A sad silent witness of the war that took place more than twenty years ago. A good example of nature taking over when humans have left, too. You chose a good angle.

The past has proven that war never offers a solution, only many victims.
But I known not how you people can help, always make the same mistake, since much centuries.
Your picture is nice and proof of war.
Sharpness and clarity make it subject still nicer.

Hallo Wolfgang,
it is an incredible feeling to realize that the war was so recent. We are so lucky that the war which passed through Austria or Poland was relatively a long time ago although my father still remembers it. It must be a difficult situation to watch the ruined houses and think of people who were lost in the tragic events.
Lets hope it never comes back.
It does reminds me my trip to this region -I just regret I didn't spend there even longer.

I chose this post from your page because i like examples where Mother Nature over takes man made structures. Mother nature will always win. for some, this isn't beautiful, for me, it is. excellent subject content. cheers
