At right are the Rozhdestvo Bogorodichno Cathedral and the Trapezitsa Fortress. The yellow dogwood is in bloom after a long cold winter. When I got to the Museum downhill to the left about 1 km, it was closed, so I kept following a walking track with concrete steps to the top of the hill in Park "Sveta Gora", and this is what I found.

Hello Chris, an excellent point of view where you have included the elevated lookout and the wonderful scene that can be viewed from there.
The sharp quality is excellent throughout the shot.

A nice view of the town and the lookout at left, which along with the young leaves in the trees makes a good foreground for the many white building and orange roofs of the town. Nice, clear sunshine also.

Hello Chris,
I'm not sure if this viewpoint existed in 2007. If so, then I definitely missed it.
Veliko Tarnovo looks wonderful from this higher point. I also thought it was the most beautiful city in Bulgaria. But in this photo I really like the alternation of red and white.
