Photographer's Note

This is one of the 7 attractive lakes comprising the Plitvice Lakes in northern Croatia. The last 2 upper lakes I skipped, to enable adequate walking time to make my way to the last bus to Split from the main entrance to the park. Unfortunately due to the sheer volume of people passing through this park swimming is not allowed. Too much sunscreen oil, soap, insect repellent, etc is bad for the environment. Some of the lakes are large enough for tour boats, also a nice way to take a shortcut!

Dobar dan.
Danas smo komsije sa fotografijama na TE.
Bio sam na Plitvicim jezerima, ostala su mi u lepom secanju.
Interesantan i lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepo pokazano jezero i drvece na obali, dobra perspektiva i kontarst, lepe boje. Lepa priroda.
Zelim vam lepo popodne, sve najbolje u novoj nedelji koja je pocela, srecno.

Hello Chris,
The tree trunks make an interesting pair of focal points and are well placed in the frame. Excellent rendering of the colours with a fine range of nuanced green tones. Just the right amount of blue sky.

Hello Chris,
There's a lot of green in this photo, even partly on the trees. Luckily the sky is still blue. It's an overwhelmingly beautiful sight and the trees give a well balanced substance to the composition.

I see also in Croatia much moss on the trees, through the acid rain!
But a wonderful panorama view with a quiek area.

Great view of this quiet lake. There are so many shades of green in this photo, both on the surface of the water and in the trees and plants that surround it. They are all lit so wonderfully by the bright sunlight. The two trees are well included in the foreground too.

amazing the color of the waters, remind me a lake in chile. I liked the framing using the trunk and the vegetation. this should be a nice place to know.
