Kamerlengo Castle, a photo from Splitsko-Dalmatinska, Coast

Photographer's Note

The castle was built in the mid-15th century by Marin Radoj as part of an expansion of the Veriga Tower, built on the site in the late 14th century. It is used as a location for performances during the summer months. The word kamerlengo (Italian: camerlengo) refers to the title of a Venetian administrative official (a chamberlain).

A pleasant lively summer atmosphere is nicely evoked in this well realised composition. The palm trees create depth and perspective directing us toward the focal point offered by the castle towers. Very good technical realisation.

Hello Daniel,
It's a nice view along the quay with the castle at the far side. The palms create a strong lead through the composition and the many brightly dressed persons animate the view. Looking back at this moment I suppose you could regret that you didn't turn the camera slightly more to the left, sacrificing a palm or two but getting the entire boat. Oh well, we all make such small mistakes all the time.

Ce n'est pas surprenant de voir autant de touristes visiter ce pays de plus en plus. Une belle architecture, de la belle temp駻ature et de belles plages. Que demander de plus. J'aime l'animation sur les quais.

A very nice view of the promenade ending with a castle, we can see it is the high summer season, so many people are walking along the bouleward, very well captured

The scene and the towe reminded me to Thessaloniki's white tower.
Perfect pov and sharpness. Nice daily life scene from Trogir.

I wish i had more time in this city, I only stayed for 2 hours for rest, a quick meal and a quick photo or two. this is a very wide and pleasing promenade. easy to see why people would stroll here. nice view of the castle, the palms and the activity. warm and friendly atmosphere
