The City Hall was the expression of the political and economic strength of the city in the first half of the 15th century. Its present appearance comes from the end of the last century, when it was partly restored.

Hello Janusz,
A great photo of the city hall. The light was perfect, emphasising the warm hue of the stones and also showing the textures and details perfectly. The blue sky is a great backdrop.

I adore the architectural style! simple yet very appealing in my eyes especially when it's bathed in warm light revealing its fine detail to max. Wonderful earthy tones too and contrast to deep blue sky is just awesome, topped off beautifully by the colourful flags. An interesting building indeed and wonderful feel of olde worlde charm! Excellent shot
