Do you think this is a boring place?
Certainly it wasn稚 boring for my 4 year old daughter!
In fact this may have been her favourite part of the whole trip to Croatia.
This place has been recommended to me by Agnes (miumiu) a while ago.
It is the Kraljičina pla杪 in Ninska Laguna. Nin is a little town located 20 minutes by car from Zadar. This is a view from the balcony of my hotel room. It is one of the rare sandy beaches in Croatia. In spite of its sand not being golden nor white, it is very clean. It is also very shallow being perfect for families with little children. When I first entered the water I was a bit disappointed because there were some rocks inside but when you go further away from the shore there are no more rocks just sand again.
The roof which you see here is a lovely beach bar, and the hotel I took this photo from, has an elegant but not too expensive restaurant with delicious food and stunning views.

Great place to rest, after an intense sightseeing of beautiful Croatian towns!

Beautiful long beach resort, which is not crowded, Mariusz.
Looking as a nice relaxed place for a vacation around a seashore.
Picture is well divided between sea and land, blue and green, altogether a pleasant sight.

Wygląda na idealne miejsce wakacyjne dla rodziny z małym dzieckiem. Piaszczysta plaża, z Twojego hotelu blisko, płytko, wiec bezpiecznie. I można sobie poleżeć w cieniu samochodu :). Spacer wzdłuż plazy tez miły. Znalazłes dobrze polozone hotele. Ale bajeczny kolor wody. Pamietam kąpiele w Adriatyku, Cudo.

Beautiful and wide summer view of the beach and the coastline. The beachgoers add some nice and vivid colours to the natural tones of the sand and water. The background view of the city and the clouds is very attractive too.

wow. thats a hotel room with a view! Well worth the time and effort to get here.
and like you say, its easy to see why a family would enjoy their time here. Looks very peaceful and relaxing, not much in the way of stress in this part of the country :)

love the depth of your photo the most, the water just seems to go on for infinity. and we even get a hint of small clouds in the far far bg. wonderful colours and view

hello Mariusz ,
I can understnad what you mean : this place looks not very impressive , as other parts of the dalmatian coast . But it was a charming place for a rest , so youve enjoyed a lot this beach . And watere has superb colors . .
the parking in the FG , not especially an attractive element at first glance , is an important and attractive part of the composition .

Quelle belle plage croate.Elle semble sans fin et la couleur de l'eau est surprenante pour cette partie du monde, on se croirait aux cara�bes. Magnifique point de vue 駘ev�.

Une prise un peu en hauteur qui donne une vue imprenable et profonde de la plage et de la mer aux couleurs turquoises, les espaces verts et les couleurs du ciel, un vrai plaisir pour les enfantes et les grands :-)
Au sujet de Paris!! oui ca fait peur, mais cela peut arriver n'importe ou ! cela aurait pu arriver quand j'騁ait � Paris, si l'on commence a r馭l馗hir , a avoir peur, alors l'on ne vit plus, mais je te comprend.....

Piaszczyste plaze sa rzadkoscia w Chorwacji, takze wybor miejsca na wypoczynek z dzieckiem jak najbardziej uzasadniony. Tylko to morze jakies dziwne :) wszedzie w zasiegu wzroku na horyzoncie wyspy, lad , wyglada to troche jakbysmy byli nad wiekszym jeziorem.
Miejsce zapamietam, moze kiedys.

Cała Chorwacja jest urocza, ale piaszczystych plaż ma niewiele, idealne miejsce dla zlapnia oddechu, bardzo ladnie pokazane z wysokiego POV

It looks to be a perfectly safe swimming beach for children and totally devoid of strong currents and deep channels. Good sharpness and a nice high pov overlooking the diagonal curve of the bay. Tfs!

Hello Mariusz,
To be honest, I don't think this is the place where I would stay a long time. But when you're traveling with kids, you change your plans of course. You can't drag a child all day along interesting buildings and historic sites or into museums. While traveling I've experienced that not everyone takes this into account and sometimes you see young kids with their parents on places of which I can only imagine that a child must be truly bored.
It's a credit to Croatia that it has the potential to offer children the opportunity to play safely while there are still a lot of interesting possibilities which demand the attention of the parents.
I'm sure your daughter will have loved this beach and it was a vital tip you got regarding Nin. Croatia has a very long coastline. However, it has a lot of rock and pebble beaches that aren't so suitable for a 4-year-old child. And safety is an important matter when you travel with children.
In Colombia I saw Europeans traveling around with their children and by public transport. They seemed to have a good time. It's not really difficult getting around there but still, sometimes I wondered how this should be with children. I admit that these kids were already a bit older, more like 12 yo.
A beautiful thing is that children learn to be open to other cultures.
