Photographer's Note
Here is another shot of this lovely Czech village. I am totally enamoured with this place. Friendly people, good food and a photographer's playland. I have posted infor on CK, but here is some more.
Česk Krumlov is a small city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, best known for the fine architecture and art of the historic old town and Česk Krumlov Castle'
Construction of the town and castle began in the late 13th century at a ford in the Vltava River, which was important in trade routes in Bohemia. In 1302 town and castle was owned by the House of Rosenberg. Emperor Rudolf II bought Krumlov in 1602 and gave it to his natural son Julius d但ustria. Emperor Ferdinand II gave Krumlov to the House of Eggenberg. From 1719 until 1945 the castle belonged to the House of Schwarzenberg. Most of the architecture of the old town and castle dates from the 14th through 17th centuries; the town's structures are mostly in Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. The core of the old town is within a horseshoe bend of the river, with the old Latr疣 neighborhood and castle on the other side of the Vltava.

Hello Roger,
Česk Krumlov is indeed a very beautiful town.
I like the red roofs contrasting with the green of the trees and the rolling Bohemian hills out of town, the river leading our eyes to the tower and the kayaks on the Vltava bring life to the picture.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Roger,
A great POV to show the architectures and river. Lovely village. Your note mentioned that the castle once belonged to the House of Schwarzenberg from 1719-1945. I visited Schwarzenberg Castle in Scheinfed, Bavaria in early September. Regards. Latiff.
