Photographer's Note

Today we will look at Prague, the Smchov district. In this area is Pav vrch at an altitude of 281 meters. The dominant feature of the hill is Kruli's villa. In the photo we have its north side. It originally belonged to the barbarian Kruli. During the Prague Uprising in 1945, SS troops resisted here for a long time, but finally surrendered at noon on May 6. In 1948, the villa was nationalized and has been used by the Ministry of the Interior ever since. Under socialism, this workplace fell under the 6th Administration of State Security and was, among other things, one of the seven Czechoslovak control points for foreign radio broadcasters. Today, the building is used by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic as a radiocommunication and measuring center.

Dnes se podv疥e do Prahy, do čtvrť Smchov.
