Photographer's Note

Today we will look at Prague, specifically on the left bank of the Vltava. From the slopes of Skalka hill, we look south to the Ko夬ře district. Down in the valley, Plzeňsk Street runs with a tram line. Until the second half of the 19th century, Ko夬ře was a village surrounded by vineyards. In 1895 they were promoted to a city and in 1922 they became part of Prague. We will find almost no panel construction in the district. Roughly in the middle of the picture on the horizon we find the area of the former factory for optical instruments - first Meopta, later ZPA.

Dnes se podv疥e do Prahy, konkr騁ně na lev břeh Vltavy. Z boč vrchu Skalka se dv疥e k jihu na čtvrť Ko夬ře. Dole v dol probh Plzeňsk ulice s tramvajovou trat. Ko夬ře byly do 2.poloviny 19.stolet vesnic obklopenou vinicemi. V roce 1895 byly pov啼ny na město a v roce 1922 se staly souč疽t Prahy. Ve čtvrti nenajdeme t駑ěř panelovou vstavbu. Zhruba uprostřed snmku na horizontu najdeme are疝 bval tov疵ny na optick přstroje - nejdřve Meopta, později ZPA.
