Photographer's Note
The Jerusalem Synagogue was built in 1906 and was originally known as the Jubilee Synagogue to honor the 50th anniversary of the reign of emperor Franz Josef I. It was renamed the Great Synagogue since it was the largest of the Prague synagogues. It eventually became known as the Jerusalem Synagogue since it is located on Jerusalem Street in New Town Prague. It was designed by the Viennese architect Wilhelm Stiassny in the Moorish Style with Art Nouveau decoration.

The contrast in this image quickly attracted me to this well framed shot. I really like it B&W. If was I was to change anything in this shot it would be some of the dark areas. I will do a workshop later for comparison. This is a wonderful photo of a beautiful place of worship.
