Photographer's Note

These are the ruins of a house that stood in the former village of Vitn. The village was located in the Bohemian Central Mountains at an altitude of 430 meters. The first mention of the village is from 1397. After the displacement of the Germans after World War II, the village became depopulated. It was settled by military retirees from Subcarpathian Russia, who gradually left. The last one left in 1965.

Po vysdlen Němců po druh světov v疝ce se vesnice vylidnila. Byla dosdlena vojenskmi vyslou枴lci z Podkarpatsk Rusi, kteř bec postupně opou嗾ěli. Posledn ode啼l v roce 1965.
